Matador was the very first enterprise in the Czech Republic and Slovakia to be granted ISO 9001 Standard Certification for the development and manufacturing of car tyres.

Matador tyres are manufactured to deliver a superior quality range at accessible prices that also has a minimum impact on the environment we live in.

In September 2005 Matador celebrated its 100th anniversary by introducing a new corporate logo to represent the company in its second century of business. In 2009 it was incorporated within the Continental group.
